What does this email from Verizon mean? No more cable card support?
What does this email from Verizon mean? No more cable card support?
I got the following email from Verizon today. Does anybody know what this email means?
Re: What does this email from Verizon mean? No more cable card support?
Verizon is going region by region and ending linear cable channels, which ends support for CableCARD and their little SD tuner boxes. Anecdotally, it seems like the end of Fios TV for most people who were still hanging on, as broadcast TV and other streaming options seem to be a lot more popular.
