Re: Pointing to the correct storage location
That info seems to be correct for your new install...
There is no pointing to a specific storage location... various installs of the engine can be set up for a specific path but which engine is used is up to which one has the most space. A drive attached to a flex via USB will need to be formatted ...

Re: Start in Live TV setting not sticking
Works fine here on 8 android units I tested.
How many hdhr's do you have? It will always skip live tv if there have been changes in detected devices since last launch. Also if you toggle between new features or not may also go back there but often it will remember the setting to start with. Do you ...

Re: Channel lineup suddenly missing ~40 channels?
There will be routine background scans done but they usually won't remove a channel. Only actually running a channel scan should remove a channel (exception for prime with cablecard as there are some other things that can r).

Did you run a new channel scan? Such is required for it to get the values (or at least it was when first came out)

Re: Latest software/UI/firmware: Win10 HDHR app is missing "DVR"
What exactly are you looking for as "backstage" is the X button which has always seems to have done the same thing (for a while they labeled this button DVR which isn't as appropriate as not everyone has DVR and there is more to "backstage" then recordings and tasks which is what the DVR is).

Re: XMLTV guide data
signed up for this and deployed a python app that will query and download for me. however can someone explain why the tvg-logo is not in the hdhomerun m3u and only in the xmltv? I believe you should add these to the EXTINF data.
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1 channel-id="3.1" channel-number="3.1" tvg-name ...

Re: Firmware 20250506
What version were they on... I believe there were some January betas that helped with mdns and upnp announcements to only go out of primary ipv4 and ipv6 addresses (typically no longer the link local addresses). Other than that there probably isn't much for those devices (other than making sure they ...

Re: Unencrypted ATSC 3.0 Station will not display
You should mention market and try another atsc3 device. In some cases it could be a transition to iptv which the app doesn't support and it can also be an issue with the station. I also suggest running a channel scan but note the dvr engine may not pick up such change for a couple of hours.

Re: HDHomerun and DRM Issue -- Is there ANY Box that will allow
Nothing android you can get... currently what is required is to have a valid key which is typically valid for a year after install... so if you got that key renewed before the issue was up it still might be working for a few more months but Google messed things up and any new install or key renewal ...

Re: guide missing most channels
I would run a scan and make sure it picks up those channels... the other apps you listed can just request any channel (doesn't need to show up from scan) with any virtual channel number and if the card (or ta) has such number it will tune.

Re: HDHomeRun CONNECT - Tuner1
Are you viewing 2 shows at once? Any request usually grabs the first available tuner as it uses the auto parameter. If you have the dvr, such request from sd's software will go through that and it can share the tuner to record and live view.
Other software may make you add the tuners separately.

Re: POE versions
Cheap poe can often result in same issue as wall wart going out which then requires entire unit be replaced when such does.
It would be nice if SD offered such poe splitter (similar to lte filter) but know that such may go out as often, or maybe even more often, than a wall wart but I am not sure ...
