I did mention restarting the tuners as well... Basically the dvr requests the full time. In theory if the engine was off long enough the tuner might stop prior but typically it doesn't. I'm surprised the rule was gone but that might be djp952's issue if you were referring to anything seen, or should...

The recording engine does not support such. The only way is to delete the rule and restart the engine... and you may also find that the tuners themselves also should be restarted. This has nothing to do with this software but with SD's dvr in general.

According to episode data, Whose Line is from last July. So if you deleted those episodes since then they would be gray rather than green. Disable them on the tuner (assuming modern tuner as legacy has no such feature to maintain lineup). They wouldn't be in that list if they never could be picked up as the list is the result of the scan.

My first thought was jasonl's as well but then I tried such and I actually get a message that such command must be run as administrator if not. I would look at other network related things, multiple nics (including wifi and virtual) where subnets may overlap. 3rd party firewall/anti-malware, vpn's.....

It is a requirement that the drive doesn't go to sleep else it takes too long to be ready when needed.

Discovery is a udp packet sent to the broadcast address of the subnet so the advice if you wish to use SD's software is to have everything on one subnet. At the very minimum ensure tuning devices and dvr engine are on the same subnet. Then you may use third party software that can use other methods ...

It can mean a million things or nothing to be concerned with at all. Based on the time given I'd lean towards the later unless nothing (particularly encrypted) is working, and you need to take such in context not as a single statement.
