Re: HDFX-FLEX-4k channel not tunable issue - jtespi

The terrain blocks most of the signal from reaching you, but some of it will hit the edge and diffract (bend) around it. There might not be enough signal left to actually decode it, but there can still be enough there to cause problems. The model indicates that K22NM-D's signal should be strong enou...

Those in the know are waiting for 6E, which combines the new tech of 6 with a ton of new spectrum so there's less congestion.

Re: Can't tune to RF 36. It works fine on my televisions.

Based on that distance and direction, it looks like you're somewhere near the Sammamish River in Redmond, which is a bit of a dead spot for broadcast TV because it's down in a bit of a valley. What antenna are you using and where do you have it installed? Getting the antenna up as high as possible w...

Does K51DS-D (or its actual callsign, K22ME-D, for some reason the FCC's LMS site doesn't update callsigns properly and therefore neither does RE) come up on the report, probably down in the gray area at the bottom?

Re: CONNECT DUO requires frequent restarts

Problems that have consistent timing are often the result of some electronic device doing something on that particular schedule that is generating enough noise to interfere with the signal. I'd troubleshoot by unplugging things until the problem stops. The most likely candidates are anything that se...

"Antenna that is bad at VHF" is probably the winner there. If the widest part of your antenna isn't at least 32 inches across, it's almost certainly bad at VHF.

Re: HDFX-FLEX-4k channel not tunable issue - jtespi

If you plug your address in to the signal search map on RE, what do your field strength and signal margin come up as for those 2 stations? The L-R map on there is a good estimate for your chances of actually receiving a broadcast, but it's using that as a minimum threshold, and not displaying signal...

112.1 (NBC) is down due to an interstation connection problem. 110.1 (FOX) should come in for you as it is working for Silicon Dust tuners as well as the TV's. I'm curious, what format are the video and audio in when bouncing from station to station? 121.1 is being sent out 1080p60 110.1 is being s...

What antenna? ABC is on VHF channel 11 and everything else on UHF, so the two obvious candidates are an antenna that is bad at VHF and interference from a strong nearby FM radio station.

Re: HDFX-FLEX-4k channel not tunable issue - jtespi

K22NM-D is broadcasting at 350 W and KRWG is broadcasting on the adjacent channel at 200,000 W, so that's a difference of 27.57 dB just in power, and that without accounting for differences in location. That could potentially cause signal issues. There's also a channel 22 translator of KOAT in Demin...

Upgrade to Windows 10. The legacy app for Windows 7/8 doesn't support the DVR.

You might get an answer here, but you'll probably get a better/faster response if you ask on the Channels forums, https://community.getchannels.com/.

Re: AC-4 Audio?

in Phoenix I cannot get channels 110.1 or 112.1 to come in on my 4k firestick. Other ATSC3.0 channels work great. 112.1 (NBC) is down due to an interstation connection problem. 110.1 (FOX) should come in for you as it is working for Silicon Dust tuners as well as the TV's. I'm curious, what format ...

Re: CATV PSIP & CVCT

The cable provider can set any arbitrary channel number. There is an official method for supporting single-part (cable-style) channel numbers like 876, but many TV's don't support it properly and the channels will come up as 1008.xxx or 1009.xxx because of how single-part numbers are represented. Us...

Re: No Guide For Any Channels

If the channels have numbers that are not in the 5000s and have actual names (not just "Unknown") then SD can assign guide data to them, but they need the device ID for your HDHomeRun, and your zip code might be helpful so they can find the right lineup.
