Re: Latest software/UI/firmware: Win10 HDHR app is missing "DVR"
The problem with it having been labeled DVR is that there are a lot of people who only do live TV and it was not obvious that there would be anything useful in there (like the Discover screen) for non-DVR users. The new behavior is that by default you now start on Discover or Recorded depending on ...

Re: DRM Channels Blocked Overnight
AppleTV has never been able to play DRM channels. It should probably show an error though. Noted that for followup.

Re: Unencrypted ATSC 3.0 Station will not display
The audio is the problem, it's not finding something it wants in the stream within 10 seconds and is timing out as a result. We'd like to get a sample for our engineering team to review. Please save the following then upload the result to a file storage site like Google Drive or Dropbox, set the ...

Re: Firmware 20250506
20250506 isn't just the changes from 20250505beta1, it also has the changes in every beta that came out after 20230713 for the HDHR4/HDTC, 20231020 for HDHR5 and newer, and 20231214 for the HDD/FLEX models:
Thanks. I feel like I'm getting closer to finding out what 20250506 does for HDHR3-CC ...

Re: Unencrypted ATSC 3.0 Station will not display
We would like to get some diagnostic data to see what is happening:
In a web browser go to http://hdhomerun.local
NOTE: That address will go do the first HDHomeRun device found on your network. If you have more than one HDHomeRun device, use the "device ID" printed on the bottom of the unit ...

Re: New beta firmware issue
Sure sounds like the encoder is no longer being fed with the various video streams and is just sending out a continuous stream of the last frame it received on each channel. Debug capture will confirm though.

Re: New beta firmware issue
So if you go into a channel today, it is showing the same frozen frame that same channel was showing on Thursday?
If you reboot the HDHomeRun and try again, is it still that same frame?

Re: Select which physical channel is used for virtual channel
When 2 channels with the same number are encountered, the preference will first go to the one with the higher vertical resolution (1080 > 720 > 480) and if the resolutions are the same it will keep whichever has the higher signal quality.

Re: KUSE changed programming yet again
I think I found working listings for MMN and Timeless TV. It would probably be better to not have listings given that even the stuff that isn't explicitly listed as an infomercial is basically just an infomercial divided up with bits of show in between.

Re: New beta firmware issue
Is this happening on all the ATSC 3.0 channels?
Is it happening on multiple different viewing devices or just a specific one?
If you tune a channel, see the frozen frame, go to a different channel, then back to the first one, is it still the same frame as before or is it a different frame?

Re: Las Vegas - Channel 29 or Channel 1?
The signal quality is low because the signal quality is low. That's not a firmware issue, that's a reception issue. I'm not sure why it's low, which is why I was hoping to get some corroboration from someone else in the area to see if it has also changed for them, since a change in the broadcast is ...
