Re: Missing shows in Discover tab

As signcarver says, when the search starts out with a number, it assumes that is a channel number and will only look on that channel. So searching "30 Rock" means that the app looks at channel "30" for the word "Rock". You can reverse the order and search for "Rock 30" as a way to get around that (t...

Re: Previous channels now missing

It looks like everything is coming back "not-subscribed" on the PRIME, which typically means the cable company messed something up. They probably messed up during an equipment audit and got the wrong subscription package associated with the CableCARD, or something to that extent. They can normally f...

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait for Gracenote to update their database for this.

Re: Moving recordings to Servio

At the moment, no easy way to do it. Extreme option, if you really know what you're doing, is to carefully open the SERVIO and take out the hard drive, then mount it in a system that can read xfs, copy the files over, then carefully put it back together. (Warranty will be intact as long as no damage...

Re: prime 6

Small Prime6 update - test boards just arrived for testing an updated RF filter design to prevent interference from MoCA and WiFi. Thanks for the update, but is it correct to assume from this, that CableLabs certification will be restarted since the final board design isn't yet submitted? Extrapola...

Given how long it's been since *anything* has been said about it from SD, I don't think it's unreasonable to at least get a confirmation that the product has *ongoing* activity.
It has ongoing activity.

Re: Video errors even with great signal?

Some smart meters have RF transmitters, but a quick google suggests that they shouldn't be overlapping with any UHF channels.

Re: Nvidia shield tv with the hdhr prime

Are all of these channels DRM-restricted? If not, we can get a sample and test the video. You can see this by going to my.hdhomerun.com and clicking on your Channel Lineup, then find a problem channel without the "DRM" flag next to it, then reply back with that channel number.

At least Silicon Dust is acknowledging they have a problem somewhere and not trying to hang it on Norton 360.
We still consider this an open issue, and we are still looking into it.

Re: Windows Summary Descriptions Cut Off

It's the app, and it's on the list of things to address. I'm not sure on the exact plan of attack, but the intention is to make it possible to read those descriptions. Possibly autoscrolling or a pop-up window with full description, just as examples.

Re: Xbox one aspect ratio

The HDHomeRun does not modify the video at all, not to the aspect ratio or adding borders. If the video shows as having black borders on all sides, that is because that is how the video is being broadcasted.
