Re: 6 tuner prime soon !!!

The question that really needs answering is if they are actively/currently working on DRM/Prime 6. The answer is yes, to both. Is it priority #1? I'm not sure how else to ask in such a way that your answer doesn't sound diplomatic. It's likely I would have received the same answer had I asked the s...

Re: When the Prime 6 comes out, how many are you planning on getting

None. Was thinking about doing the cable card thing, but now that Channels can record tv everywhere content. No need. Will stay with my connects So, you want to pay for a cable subscription, and box rental (since you'll need a cable box for your cable plan, but you don't want a PRIME), so that you ...

Re: Where is hdhomerun recording?

I’m a little confused, I didn’t mention recording on a Mac, just a NAS. You didn't, but your HDHomeRun did :) Any copy of our DVR software on your network will contact our servers using the device ID of the HDHomeRun Tuner, and download guide data and upcoming timers/tasks for recordings. For the D...

Re: Where is hdhomerun recording?

You have another copy of the DVR software running on a Mac computer. You can uninstall that copy by doing the following: https://info.hdhomerun.com/info/dvr:mac#uninstalling

Re: No tuners found in hdhr setup

The left-most LED being solid red means the PRIME can't connect to the network. Before assuming there is damage to the unit itself, see if a different ethernet cable, or better yet, connecting it to a different port (or different router all together) does anything. It's possible what got damaged was...

Re: HDHomeRun SCRIBE & SERVIO is there a method to transfer video off the device to longterm storage? Also Guide Questio

Currently no way of moving anything to the device... Well, if you are willing to void the warrantee on a perfectly new device (which is usually a very bad idea), it was stated to be just another XFS file system..... Just saying.... Removing the hard drive for the sake of a file transfer won't actua...

Re: Servio and Scribe

They have said it was upgradable...the issue is 7mm height so most above 2TB won't work (supposedly there is a 7mm 4TB drive but i haven't seen it on stock (or at least at a decent price, and i generally don't like ssd's for dvr and there supposedly are some larger ssd's) The info for such was at h...

Re: HDHomeRun OTA Live for Roku

Does not work. I must have Samsung TV and or Visio Sound bar that does not support the superduper Dolby Digital or AC3 audio over HDMI and god forbid they could just send it in mono or that 1980s Dolby digital.... sigh. Hey good news is at least I don't have to scramble for the mute button when tho...

Installed on TCL Roku TV 49S405, on software 9.0.0. I can choose a channel, then a program but it kicks back to the channels.
Is your HDHomeRun an OTA model or a PRIME?

Re: HDHomeRun OTA Live for Roku

With my Streaming Stick+ (3810X) and Connect (HDHR4-2US), although many of my local Channels stream, none have sound. Display is a "Basic" ASUS Monitor (VC239H), using its built-in speakers. Although I have read some people have been able to obtain audio by selecting HDMI (Dolby Digital), all that ...
