Re: Odd behavior first time opening slide guide.

I'm not. As far as the no highlight problem on the slice guide, with up on remote. Have to exit out and go into live again, to get a highlight back. Yep, working on fixing this now. I kinda though you already were working it, seeing that thread was created at the end of last year. Different issues....

Check the Microsoft store and see if it updated the HDHomeRun app yet. Updates are being pushed out with new DRM-keys.

Re: Turning keyboard on/off rewinds DVR?

If you are in another app, say a text editor, does it move the text cursor? Maybe it's sending an arrow-key press.

Re: TypeError: Unable to get property 'client height' of undefined or null reference when exiting Live TV

Is there a more effective way to report bugs ? We are still looking into it, but have not been able to reproduce the issue yet. It might have already been fixed when the developer was working on other parts of the UI code, so can you tell us if you are seeing this when the option "Early access to f...

Please enable "Early access to features" in the HDHomeRun app settings and see if this happens there as well.

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC

There are "real" MCE remotes, then there are ones that just emulate keyboard presses. I think we can accommodate both. At the very least, being able to support a device like the Flirc receiver would be a major benefit, where any IR signal can be bound to a key-press.

Re: Firestick 4k video freezing - please rollback version

The biggest frustration here is that several different issues will often have the same symptoms. A networking issue can cause the same symptoms as a playback issue, typeerrors in the UI can happen for a number of reasons but will all show the same weird screen, and some issues depend on having a cer...

Re: will hdhomerun dvr ever be not beta

I think there's some splitting of hairs about what is defined as beta or stable here. We consider the current feature set (which covers some cable TV users and all OTA users) to be stable software. For cable TV users who have DRM-restricted channels, our DVR software is incomplete, and we are hard a...

We plan on adding a feature to let you specify your TV market, similar to how TVs in the UK/EU handle this internally.

Re: HDHomeRun DVR Sanity Check

The record engine supports doing a recent rule (this season) plus any number of one time recordings for older episodes. Let me check regarding the UI. Nick This doesn't appear to be the case for me using the HDHomeRun App on Win 10 (Version 20191209 (App) 20200128 (UI). HDHR3-US & Record engine are...

When this happens, is it only the HDHomeRun app that won't connect? For example, will Safari load any websites from the internet? Are you connected via wifi or wired ethernet?

Re: TypeError: Cannot read property 'StartTime' of Undefined

I'm sorry for not replying sooner. It sounds like a bug we are tracking where the app fails after being open for a long time. I'm guessing in your case when you switch out of the HDHomeRun app, it's not actually closing the app, and so you're seeing the same issue as if you had the app fully open th...

I can confirm, recent + one-time recordings can co-exist for the same show.

Re: Recording DRM

Even The Tech Guy knows what's up and said it's probably vaporware on his show this past week. By the way, Leo was talking about the PRIME6, not about DRM-recording support. Again, we are still working on the PRIME6, so I don't agree with his comment about the PRIME6 (he said it "may be" vaporware,...
