Re: Commercial detection and skipping

So, here is what I think might be a better explanation. This was not about CC itself, but aligning the CC sync points with a commercial, with an offset. So (example) a CC sync point +20 seconds indicated the start of a commercial, and a CC sync point -57 seconds would indicate the end of a ...

Re: Brightscript crash on Roku when accessing DVR

When you restart the app it should show a crash report - can you please take pictures and send them to support@silicondust.com

I can check a few things - what is the device ID of your HDHomeRun?

Re: FireTV Cube (New Model GA5Z9L) frame renders then freezes

We are not seeing any diagnostic information from the HDHomeRun app - can you please run the HDHomeRun app on the new FireTV Cube (only), and enable "send diagnostic information" in the settings menu. Ok to leave diagnostics enabled on the HDHomeRun units.

Re: How does this fit into my system

The input is a TV antenna - it picks up all your local channels (>100 here in Phoenix for example).

Add a hard drive and it is a whole-home DVR - you tell it what series and movies to record and it will automatically record every unique episode (skipping episodes you already have recorded).
