No Series Data

Why am I seeing No Series Data (never seen before) for series of recordings of live news this morning? While they appeared to have been recorded at first glance, clicking on the show icon produces this error message.

Update: Later I opened the app and the recordings were there.

What app or client are you using? Is it a Google TV w/ Chromecast style android? I too am seeing issues where recordings may or may not be there.

App on fireTV Cube and Nvidia Shield. They've been upgrading the apps and I'm set to get beta stuff, but I've never seen this message before. At the moment I'm not certain it was on both of my devices, but most certainly on the Shield app.

What's really interesting is that the SD staff showed zero interest in an error message as yet unseen by a multi-year subscriber after firmware updates.

I confirmed on the weekend that the message "No Series Data" can be briefly seen while the episode data loads. It is harmless and will be fixed this week.

Are you seeing a problem that is impacting using the DVR?

Unable to play the content that later was available. It was as if there was no data, but I think it was there. I think I saw it pop up this morning from one expected recording but another played fine.

when you say "unable to play" do you mean that the episodes view correctly showed your recordings but when you tried to play one it didn't play?

That first day nothing would play and there should have been four to six recordings of early morning news broadcasts. All I got when I clicked on the show icons was the error message, so I had no recordings to watch that morning. A couple of hours later I opened the app again and I could have then watched the shows, but deleted them. Yesterday was the first time I've seen that error again and it was only briefly.

FYI: my tuner IS set to receive early updates. I have the Flex DUO.
