Any chance your router got a firmware update that is causing problems?

The other possibility is you have a second DHCP server on your network... did you install any new APs or equipment?

It sounds like DHCP is failing... are you up for doing a Wireshark packet capture? (filter "bootp" to see the DHCP communication)

IPv4 - the HDHomeRun will pick up a DHCP address from your router, plus maintain an Auto-IP address (169.254.x.x). The Auto-IP address is harmless - just ignore it.

IPv6 - the HDHomeRun will pick a link-local address and a global address if your router supports IPv6.

Are you entering episodes view from Recorded or Discover?

If you enter episodes view from Recorded you should see the Recent group selected by default.
If you enter episodes view from Discover you should see the Upcoming group selected by default.

It has been updated to report the next 100 recordings with no time limit... how does that look?

when you say "unable to play" do you mean that the episodes view correctly showed your recordings but when you tried to play one it didn't play?

I confirmed on the weekend that the message "No Series Data" can be briefly seen while the episode data loads. It is harmless and will be fixed this week.

Are you seeing a problem that is impacting using the DVR?

What you are describing strongly suggests that the first delete is working but the UI is incorrectly continuing to show the episode. The further delete attempts will be ignored by the record engine as it has already deleted the recording but may help what the UI displays.
