I recorded the Bills/Jaguars on channel 2.1 yesterday out of Philly, because we had a conflict and couldn't watch it live.
I had checked what channel it was on using the HDHR app on my Mac before I ran my record script. We don't have the HDHR that has DVR features, so I do recordings on my Mac using VLC.
For some reason, the recording used the SAP and ended up being in Spanish!!! I was bummed. I couldn't enjoy watching the game!
I'm not sure how this could have happened. I have used my record script many times before and this is the first time I've ever had this happen. I would like to try and prevent it from happening again in the future, so I'm wondering if there is an explicit setting I can use in the URL that I use to start the stream in VLC that explicitly sets SAP to off?
This is the URL I use currently:
```
http://192.168.1.84:5004/auto/v{{payloa ... d.duration}}
```
How to set SAP when recording via VLC?
Re: How to set SAP when recording via VLC?
The HDHomeRun delivers all audio tracks in the broadcast. It is up to the player which one it picks by default and up to the user to select a different track if they want.
Use the top menu in VLC - Audio, Audio Track, and select the audio track you want.
