Hi,
My name is Gary and I live in Freehold NJ.
I just would like to know if HDHomerun can tune into 3.0 Nextgen stations when you do a channel scan with the software. I ask this because I have been trying to get the antenna to the best location and finally did but when I scanned for channels it did not pick up CBS or NBC and a few others the TV picked up.
When I connect directly from the antenna to my LG TV it receives so many more channels than what HDHR is picking up.
I understand you won’t be able to DVR the DRM’d channels but I just want to make sure it can receive the DRM channels before I haul a TV up in the attic to do the fine running to get them.
Thanks,
Gary

It should be able to detect the atsc 3.0 channels. However if the channels are DRM you won't be able to view them or record them (unless A3SA allows solutions to move forward in the future). You should get a screen stating that when tuning into the channel. Make sure you have the latest firmware on the HD Home Run 4k Flex.
Re: HDHomerun 4K Local Stations in New Jersey
We would like to get some diagnostic data to see what is happening:
- In a web browser go to http://hdhomerun.local
NOTE: That address will go do the first HDHomeRun device found on your network. If you have more than one HDHomeRun device, use the "device ID" printed on the bottom of the unit instead of "hdhomerun" in the address. For example, if your device ID was 104FFFFF then you would go to http://104fffff.local - If it tells you that a firmware update is available, please install it
- Click "System Menu"
- Check the "Send diagnostic information" box (if this box is already checked, please un-check then re-check it)
- Go back one page
- Click "Channel Lineup"
- Click on "Detect Channels"
