Homerun on Firestick - Exit Application stuck

Hi - twice, I've had the "Exit Application Do you want to exit the app? OK - CANCEL" popup get stuck on over the application which still runs. The first time, I don't remember the sequence, but this second time this is what I remember:

1. I was watching a recording of ABC Good morning America at 8:30, I was fiddling with the options at the bottom of the screen.
2. I went to back it with the return key on my Samsung remote using the HDMI interface
3. The Application still works as I was able to get to Live, Guide, Record, etc.
4. I could no longer get to a working "Exit Application..." screen.
5. I hit home to stop the app and the "Exit Application..." screen is still there. Expected because the app is in memory.
6. I again hit home, but went to manage applications. Did a Force Stop
7. Restarted HD Homerun. Everything back to normal.
