There are 2 features that would greatly improve my experience with the software:

1: The ability to set the Task to record any channel, but only HD. I have 3 PBS stations. I just went to record a show and had the choice of 50.1, 50.4, and 28.1. I would like to record any HD (50.1 and 28.1, but not 50.4) occurrence. Some shows don't air every week, so in the future there may be episodes on one channel and not another. Currently, I record all channels and every few days "prune" out the SD sub channels.

2: Start the GUIDE and LIVE streams using "Starred." The many sub-channels make it cumbersome to find the few stations I am interested in. E.g. the first page of the Guide does not even show all of the first 3 "Channels," and the one I watch most is row 35.

When setting up the recording you can select one or more channels to record from. Just click on 50.1 and 28.1, but not 50.4.

By default the DVR favors recording from the HD channels.

Are you seeing episodes air on SD channel before HD channels?
