What type of device? It should be there for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows. I'll have to double check on Apple TV and Roku.

I am using the Android player and Windows player. When I set recordings within the guide of the Android HDHOMERUN player the red recording dot does not show up in the guide until I close out the program and restart it. When I set up recordings in the android app and close it and the open the Windows player the red recording dot does appear in the program guide.
I just was not seeing it right after scheduling a recording in the program guide in the android app right after closing the record schedule window. You have to close out the guide window and go to live and then reopen the guide to see the active recordings. So there really is not an issue unless you can get the guide to refresh when the schedule record window closes.
One improvement to managing recordings would be to allow you to click on the guide program that has an active record red dot and have it link to the manage recording to delete it or adjust the start and end time say if a sporting event playing before it is going to run long.

Ah yeah, looks like there is a bug in it not refreshing the UI when a new recording is set. I will let the UI guys know about it.
When re-selecting a show in the guide, that is future recording, one can re-select the "Auto-record" or "Record this airing" options to update the start/end padding and such, but we should probably also allow someone to delete the recording rule from that same point. It's also not obvious to re-select those options to *edit* a recording. Hmm. I will ask the devs and see what we can come up with. Maybe we can detect when something has an existing rule and change it to say "edit recording", then add a "delete" (or some other label) option for the recording rule in the edit box.
