Good signal strength, pixelating signal quality

We have great signal strength but the signal quality varies in the 45-70% range. How do I shore up that quality? Thank you for the help!

What type/model of antenna are you using? Indoor or roof top? Does the antenna have a powered amplifier on or off? How many miles are you from the transmission tower? Do you have coax splitters between the antenna and Flex 4 k?
I think your issues is with a ATSC 1.0 broadcast. Do you see a better quality with ATSC 3.0?

I have a Televes DINOVA BOSS MIX antenna connected with an intelligent amplifier that has automatic gain control for a balanced signal and LTE, 4G, 5G, and FM filtering. It is mounted outside about 20 feet off the ground about a 1000 feet from the station antenna underneath the tower. I only need to receive the 1.0 signal OTA. This is working fine at other sites I operate. Seems like re-orienting the antenna is one option. Do you know the input voltage range on HD HomeRun. I could be feeding too much signal?.

I have the Televes Ellipse Mix here in Central Florida. Have you tried turning off the amplifier to see if the quality improves? I know the Amp is self adjusting to the gain. If that doesn't work you may need to adjust the direction to your towers.

I’m no expert but did see in the troubleshooting section that high signal strength combined with low signal quality can be too much signal. Since you say the station antenna is 1000’ away, it might be the issue and a preamp would likely only make things worse. Also, I believe they already have a preamp. I’d take the preamp out and try. Bet geriakt called it.
