Looks like I already have the 7/13/2026 version. Diagnostics have been on. The audio setting is passthrough so I can “enjoy” the faux Dolby Atmos audio. 🤔

Yeah. Just froze again after game around 6:52pm. Guessing you have data you could look at. Confirmed audio is set to passthrough.

Also, it seems like the audio got ahead of the live video. With eArc, I didn’t think that should happen. I’ve read about audio being behind the video with eArc and Atmos being a problem. So this seems odd to me too.

Finally revisiting these issues using my recordings.

So I started watching the final between Spain and Argentina playing it about the time that the Spain brass band is playing their national anthem through Argentina’s national anthem sung by the opera style singer all the way through that commercial break things are fine. But as soon as that commercial break is over and the Kashi commercial ends the FIFA World Cup logo for Fox comes up and the playback of the recording stops and returns to the recording page. I can skip over that and get past it, but it reliably hates that particular moment in time even in the recording.

It didn’t matter whether I was in digital passthrough, 5.1, or Stereo audio modes.
