No tuners found on iPhone app, works perfectly on iPad

As the title says.

Both iPhone and iPad are connected to the same network. Both fully up to date.

Check Settings > Security & Privacy > Local network and make sure the HDHomeRun app is enabled. If it is already enabled, disable it and re-enable it.

Didn't make any difference. Still only sees the DVR and not the tuner.

Can you reach the HDHomeRun's web page at http://hdhomerun.local/ in a web browser on the iPhone?

Do you have a VPN on the iPhone?

Nope.

But then again, I also can't reach that page from the iPad or my PC, both of which work and are on the same network subnet.

Typing the target IP directly works from everywhere.

Forgot to add. I have 3 (at least) VPNs loaded on the phone (the same as on the iPad), but none are active.

Can you try uninstalling all of them and testing that way? Some of them can still interfere with local network connectivity even when not actively connected, depending on the exact software and settings.

Was also going to run packet traces on both the iPhone and iPad to see if I could spot the differences.

It wasn't an uninstall/re-install per se, but updating to the latest version just released appears to have corrected it.

So, guess I'll never know what the real reason was.
