Slice and guide scroll slow

Slice and guide scroll really slow. Is this expected.

Guide always seemed to scroll slow.

Slice used to scroll fast but now it hangs then skips like a dozen channels at a time.

What changed?

Also is there no “page up/down” function on guide or slice?

On nvidia shield pro 2019

Are you using the normal minimalist remote the Shield ships with?

Are you holding down the up/down button or pressing rapidly?

Using a Bluetooth remote. Sofabaton specifically but it never had this issue (going slow on slice).

I can try the old remote but the same behavior happens directly on Sony tv running android tv with the Sony tv remote. I can try to film the behavior sometime if you like.
