Roku App Exit via CEC

I utilize the HDHomerun Roku app for accessing my HDHomerun Tuner. My Roku unit is cleanly tucked away in a cabinet near my TV. I am able to operate the roku via my TV remote control through the magic that is the CEC protocol. This works wonderfully for all of the functions within the HDHomerun App with the exception of exiting the app. The only way I have found that I can exit the HDhomerun App is by hitting the home button on the Roku Remote. The Home button on the roku remote kicks you out of any app and takes you back to the roku home page, working even when apps hang. It's almost more of a "restart" button. Other Roku apps utilize the more standard "back" button to exit, usually accompanied with an "Are you sure you want to exit" dialog. It would be wonderful if the HDhomerun app operated the same way. Or maybe there is an exit method that I'm missing other than the "home" button? Thanks!
