symbol quality errors

I have noticed lately on my hdhrfx-4k tuners symbol quality drops to none and my picture freezes in channels dvr. I have enabled diagnostics and run a scan. My ids are 10AD4B3A and 10AD244C thanks.

Can you disconnect 10AD4B3A and then start streaming one of the channels that has a lot of issues (9.3 maybe), then reconnect 10AD4B3A and start that same channel on a different device and see if they both encounter issues at the same time? Basically just trying to compare the two devices since all of the viewing so far has been on 10AD4B3A.

I did notice an intermittent problem on 5.1. on 10AD4B3A signal quality would drop while it would be 100% on 10AD244C on the same channel. Also 10AD4B3A has 117 channels while 10AD244C has 125. they are both plugged into the same splitter.

Just changed splitter signal strentgh on 9.3 on 10AD244C is 100% on 10AD4B3A i get 93%

What kind of splitter and coax cables are you using?

Have you tried swapping the cables between the devices to rule out a cable problem? There's a pretty consistent difference in signal between the two devices.

I have new coax cables on the way. I will test with them when they get here.

Take a look at it now. I am using new cables and a new power inserter for my antenna.

There were no symbol quality drops during the brief periods that you tested, but it was only a few minutes total so that's a pretty small sample size.
