Apologies if this has been asked/answered already, go ahead an point me to that thread if so.
I just set up my Flex Duo yesterday and I'm noticing some of the channels I receive have audio that is quite noticeably delayed/out of sync with the video. Many tuners/tvs seem to offer controls to sync this when necessary. Is there a way in my HD HomeRun App to do this? Hope so.
Audio Sync Issues
Re: Audio Sync Issues
We would like to get some diagnostic data:
Reply back to this post and provide us the device ID of your HDHomeRun and we will check the logs. You can find the device ID on a label on the bottom of the HDHomeRun itself.
- Please go to http://hdhomerun.local
- If it tells you that a firmware update is available, please install it
- Click System Status
- Check the Send diagnostic information box
- Go back one page
- Click Channel Lineup
- Click on Detect Channels
- After the scan finishes, open the HDHomeRun app
- Go into the app settings: the gear icon in the top right corner of the "Live/Recorded/Discover/Tasks" page
- Enable the option to "Send diagnostic information"
- Watch a problem channel for at least 10 minutes

Re: Audio Sync Issues
Thanks, I will do this asap. It may also behave different on different devices, so it that case it is not your fault. Still diagnosing...
Re: Audio Sync Issues
By the way, when I try to browse to (MacOS 26.3, Chrome Browser) the local address of my device with the link you shared, I get:
This site can’t be reached
hdhomerun.local’s server IP address could not be found.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS configuration
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
Using the app works just fine, but something is not allowing me to browse to it directly...

Re: Audio Sync Issues
Use Safari. Chrome is sometimes weird about .local addresses, IIRC.
Re: Audio Sync Issues
Chrome requires that you type http://hdhomerun.local for some reason. Most other browsers accept hdhomerun.local
Re: Audio Sync Issues
I believe chrome defaults to https unless you specify http.nickk wrote: Tue Feb 24, 2026 7:57 am Chrome requires that you type http://hdhomerun.local for some reason. Most other browsers accept hdhomerun.local
