Using the HDHomeRun app (20260116 app/ui) on my Apple TV 4k (3rd gen) (tvOS 26.4) the guide, discover and everything loads in fine, but if I click on any live channel I just get a black screen and no audio. The progress bar at the bottom is counting as well.
Pretty sure it was working yesterday after I updated the tvOS. Tried restarting app and Apple TV but no luck. App and channels run fine on my Macbook app.

SD typically won't do anything to update for beta OSs as that is a moving target.
The biggest news I've seen for tvOS 26.4 is the removal of itunes movies/tv and that removal may have removed some codecs tv's use. (I think roku recently removed all mpeg2 from their latest devices but that may have been a mistake but they did such before for many years), the other thing is the continuous audio which basically sends everything out as MAT so you may wish to play with that setting (I believe I read even appleTV and netflix had issues playing when this was on, though disney+ didn't mind).

Try disabling Dolby MAT audio output on Apple TV for the moment...

Problem fixed. The app should auto-update.
