Unable to download HDHomerun App on the new Google TV Streamer

I successfully set up my new Google TV Streamer, but I ran into trouble trying to download the HDHomeRun app. Despite several searches, I couldn't find the app. I have no issues locating it on my previous 4th Gen Chromecast. Why can't I find it on my new Google TV Streamer?

That's odd.

We have just submitted a new app release to Google so that might be enough for the system to pick up the new model... we will know in a few days.

Can you link to the exact product on Google or Amazon...

I've been having the same problem with my new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select for 2 days now. No search produces the HDHomerun app. Additionally, I've tried every search variant I can think of... dvr, antenna dvr, ota dvr, silicondust, etc. and nothing works. I tried to use the links SiliconDust provides, the install app button says install until I log in to the store, then I'm told that I've already downloaded the app (to my Skystream3+) and no other available compatible devices can be found.

The Fire TV Stick 4K "Select" does not run Fire OS like Amazon's other Fire TV products. It cannot run Android apps and it is not supported at this time.

I just experienced what OP stated about the app not available for the Google TV Streamer... for some reason searching for the app to install on the device won't find it. However, if you use a PC and go to the google play store it will allow you to select the streamer to install to.
