I have the same problem. I have an open support ticket and was asked just like you to re-create the problem and share logs. I am using the newest app update 20260119 on an Android box. The same issue happens in the same way on the Roku version of the app. I use a new Flex Quatro. All other software is up to date. I have a USB hard drive connected to the Flex for the DVR storage that is USB 3.0 and has transfer rates up to 5.0 gbs.
The HDHR is of course connected to my router via ethernet as it cannot be connected via WiFi. I have multiple TVs in my house running the HDHR app to access the unit and the Rew/FF issue happens on all of them regardless of operating system. All the TVs are using WiFi to access the HDHR. I imagine that the vast majority of home users of the HDHR accessing with multiple TVS are using wifi for the TV portion of the connections and that the system is designed to function when so connected.
I have no access points or extenders in my wifi network just one good router.

Re: Fast Forwarding Issue - juddagain
If you are seeing a problem on Android then it is a different problem.
When you next see the problem can you please post back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun and the date+time you saw the problem.

I sent my ID and date/time directly back in the email I got from support concerning my open support ticket. If you want me to post those here again let me know?nickk wrote: Wed Jan 28, 2026 8:55 am If you are seeing a problem on Android then it is a different problem.

At 10:24:34 (pm) there were a series of seek requests, the last one being a request to seek to 16m17s. The log indicates video playback resumed.
The next log entry is at 10:24:56 (pm) where the audio path reported end-of-stream.
How long did it take from the stall to it exiting out to the guide? Black screen, or video but no audio?
