Hd home run live tv constantly freezes up

We just bought an HD Homerun Flex Duo 2 a month ago or so.and conceptually a great idea because because we ditched cable and mostly watch football games but it freezes often, requiring us to exit the live tv, close the App, then reload it. Oftentimes during crucial plays,lol. Very frustrating at times.
We have a Fios modem/gateway, an Eero router, and we only have one tv. We use Apple TV. Is this a bug or my error?

Apple TV should not be freezing like that.

Can you please enable "send diagnostic information" in the settings menu of the HDHomeRun app, then when you next see that problem post back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun.

Also we have an update for Apple TV that will be out later this month.
