No Video, Only Audio

Hi

I have been using my HDHR Quattro for a few months now and until today, I have had very few issues. I have set up the DVR to a share on my PC and have been recording things without any problems. I have also integrated HDHR with my Emby media server, again with no issues. I have the HDHR app installed on a couple of NVIDIA Shield Pro boxes and a Windows 11 PC and all has worked well until today

My problem is that when I try and watch a program (whether it be live or recorded), I get a grey screen instead of video and the audio seems fine. This happens on ALL my devices! I have power-cycled the HDHR box to no avail. The really strange thing is that I can watch both live and recorded TV via my Emby apps on Windows and/or Android, so the HDHR box is certainly generating watchable recordings and streams. I have force-stopped the android app and this too makes no odds

Obviously, its not mission critical because I have a way to watch TV, but I do not relish the prospect of teaching my technophobe wife a different way of accessing the content

Has anybody else experienced similar and if so, how did you fix it?

I've got the same issue on live tv with a HDHR Prime, no video and audio only. The video is just a blank screen. It started this morning for me.

it appears to be the guide taking over the screen...on my PC i can sometimes see the top and bottom edges of the video, but most of the time all i get is only audio with a grey guide screen covering the video.

Yep same issue here on all clients (Mac, Xbox, iOS).

It appears to be a UI issue from the one that just got pushed out (20260105a)... my android device that has been watching since this morning is still working but its on an older UI until I restart it (20251227).

Edit: and to confirm on exit and restart of app it picked up th blank screen issue.

Same here. Just happened this evening Monday 5th Janiary. Fire tv app and iOS app have the same issue. But if I use VLC this bypasses the grey box covering most of the screen.

Might be a message being broadcast by the box overlaying the screen.

My server is a WD NAS. My clients are fire cubes on my TVs. I am also having this issue on my HDHomerun app. It started around 12pm est. worked fine all morning.
Edit: I just launched the app on my iPhone. It appears that the program is playing but there’s a black screen in front of the live channel. I can tell this because I can see the video playing behind the black screen on a tiny sliver of space at the bottom of the black screen

Edit: works on Plex.

Same issue with both of my Nvidia shield Pros. Its works via plex live TV on the shield.

No go on all my clients, Windows, 2 Fire Tvs and a GoogleTV and Android. Recordings don't play either, just a gray screen with audio. Must be a server issue.

Same for all Google sources but Roku is fine.
