Overwriting old recordings

Is there a way to have the HDHR overwrite old recordings? Would be great not to miss a recording because the drive filled up.

A check box for a circular file rotation would be great, FIFO. For me, putting it in the web ui for the tuner would be fine.

So what you are saying is that a 480I scheduled recording should overwrite an existing 1080I recording. Or that a recording with potential pixelation should overwrite one that is clean.

Common usage of this feature is for a recording from 12/2025 to overwrite a show from 6/2024, regardless of what the show is or the format.
