When in the guide, I’m able to scroll down all the way to my Fox 145.1 channel and I can see there are channels below it like 145.100 and I know they are there, but I cannot scroll to them in the interface on my Amazon Firestick 4K v2.
Problem reproduced - we will get it fixed.

A small tweak: It would be nice if the Guide view supported the PageUp/Down buttons moving through the guide a page at a time. On the macOS app (App Store), it appears PageUp/Down work exactly the same as Up/Down.

Why is there no longer any indication of watched episodes? Makes it difficult to find where you last left off.

The indication should be there, along the bottom of the episode image.

The new guide centric approach and the live both available is excellent! Liking the changes now.

Note: The starred channels being at the top. Not sure how to sort it differently... or if possible.

Feature Request, Change to Page Scrolling on Live Slice and Guide
Post by hutchpuppy » Sun Oct 26, 2025 10:01 pm

When using the channel up/down on equipped google tv remotes etc, the Live Slice guide used to scroll page by page....which was super nice. Now it changes the channel and is useless and very annoying when on Live Slice guide.

If this was an intended change from SD, please revert this back or make is a menu option. Better yet, you should allow for this page scrolling when on the new "guide centric" page.

I vote feature request for menu option allowing user preference when on Live Slice and Guide for page by page or line by line scrolling using channel up/down buttons on equipped remotes.

Maybe @nickk can have a look.

FWIW, I also agree with others that forcing the Live Slice on everyone in the new "Guide Centric" gui approach is a bad idea. Flexibility of the way the user wants to use the new features here is key.

or we could just do this:

No GUI elements visible on screen: Page Up/Down - Chan Up/Down

Slice guide or Grid guide on screen: Page Up/Down - Page Up/Down

Sounds good NedS. Let's git-r-done!

to clarify your answer,
No GUI elements visible on screen: Chan Up/Down button pressed, channel changes.

Slice guide or Grid guide on screen: Chan Up/Down button pressed - Slice guide or Grid guide scrolls by page (like it used to on Slice Guide).

In the most recent Apple TV beta (20251027) I can’t even get to my recordings now as the back button just exits the app!

In the 20251013 version I can get to Recorded and there is no progress indication visible.

I checked on the Fire TV app using UI 20251022d and the indication is visible so looks like that issue may be specific to the Apple TV version.

Problem reproduced when the app is set to start in Live... we will get that fixed today.

BTW - did you intend for the app to start in Live? it should default to starting in Guide.

Yes, I had it set to start in Live.
