A couple of weeks ago, all my guide info disappeared for maybe a day then came back partially. I can only get 5 channels at my location (Quebec City, QC) and one of them came back with a different mapping than before and now has no guide info.
Channel 20.1 CKMI-DT is now showing up as 316.80 CKMI-H and has no guide data (still tuning in to us-bcast channel 20)
Device ID: 1046756B
Also probably related, since the guide info came back, the HDHomeRun app on Windows and Android TV started showing the channels twice in the guide page (each one appears twice, only one of them starred). How can I get rid of the duplicates?
Thanks,
Ian
Incorrect channel mapping - CKMI-DT Quebec City
Re: Incorrect channel mapping - CKMI-DT Quebec City
Updated.
Go to http://hdhomerun.local and run "Detect Channels" and that should get rid of the duplicates.

Re: Incorrect channel mapping - CKMI-DT Quebec City
Thanks Ned, the guide content has come back, but duplicate channels still show up in full guide in the HDHomeRun apps.
I did re-do a detect channels on hdhomerun.local, no change. To be clear, the channels never showed up duplicated in the hdhomerun.local interface, just in the viewer apps for windows and android, and not in the slices interface, the full guide interface.
Also, CKMI-DT (channel 20.1) is still showing up as CKMI-H and channel 316.18 which is wrong although it is a minor annoyance since it still works. On the HDHomeRun Config GUI windows app, I can see it is tuning in to us-bcast 20 but the program is indicated as 316.80 CKMI-H. Is this correspondance (316.80 <--> CHMI-H) sent by the station or Sillicon Dust?

Re: Incorrect channel mapping - CKMI-DT Quebec City
Station names and virtual channel numbers come from the station.
By duplicates, do you mean favorites vs. all as that is the intention... favorites get listed first then all channels get listed that way those with 100+ channels still get such in order (i.e. if 10.2 were a favorite it will still end up being between 10.1 and 10.3 in the all channel listing).

So if I un-starred them they would only appear once? I can't verify now, but I seem to remember that if a channel was not starred, it did not appear in the list.
Edit: I confirmed it was indeed my problem, thanks. I still have the channel identity mystery to resolve but that is probably on the station's side. Thanks everyone.
