I got the update, but the guide is acting funky. I typed in channel 214, and it went to channel 46 in the guide.

He's saying that when you select "GUIDE" at the top, the last viewed channel is automatically highlighted in the guide itself, so you only have to press the select/ok button a second time, and you will go to the same place that "LIVE" would have taken you.
I am capable of reading and I am also capable of knowing that the live option used to be on top of the screen and only required that you click on it. Seems to me that is easier that the option you presented. But what the hell do I know.

A server-side UI update has restored the LIVE tab, no update needed for Mac, iOS, Android, Fire OS, Windows, Xbox, LG. Updates for Apple TV and Roku are incoming soon.

EDIT: if the app is already open, you just need to quit and open the app again.

There is no longer an option for slice guide vs. list guide in settings....
And live always goes to slice guide now.
Is this on purpose?
Would like to have been able to go the the list guide from the live tab,
as we had before.
Thanks.

This is by design. Press Back/ESC to go to the grid guide.

Not going to guide when you hit Back. Goes to wherever you were before entering Live.
V20251091.

Edit: AND Guide goes to a different channel than what you've clicked on.

That is the expected behavior.

If you came from Guide it should return you to Guide with focus on the last channel you tuned. If this is not what you are seeing please make a video so we can see what you are experiencing.

Since this follow up I have "No Guide Information Available" on multiple channels. Both on Fire TV 4k Max, a Fire Cube 3 and Windows 11. Same channels missing guide info on all 3.

It is erratic. It started going back to the guide again, but the slice guide and the listing guide are out of sync with each other, each pointing to different channels. And clicking on the a list guide channel still takes you to the wrong channel not the one you were tuned to. .It repeated like this several times. Gave up for now. Seems to work ok if you just use the slice guide.

Had that issue before all the other things I described started happening.
