That's the full band one, so it is pretty huge at 104" x 81". Your current antenna seems sufficient, maybe just swap out the preamp for one that doesn't have a filter and add a separate filter.

So I have the televes assembled. this thing is big. It is the size of my 2nd gen prius. It takes up a whole spot in my garage where I would normally park my car. I will call a roof guy during the week to inspect my roof and make sure it can handle it. then I have to get someone to carry this up a ladder so it is a big job. in the mean time, I signed up for fubo and have been getting cbs in channels dvr via the vlc-bridge-fubo project but not sure how long that would last so I really want to get this antenna mounted. I will keep you posted. thanks.

new antenna is up. I get cbs in the scan (still have to watch it) but lost 33.*. I have enabled send diagnostics and run a scan my ids are

very odd. 5 min ago I was getting 98 channels now it shows 83. I guess I have to invest in a lte/5g filter. which one is best for low-vhf. thanks.

EDIT: Looking at the specs for that antenna, it appears to have a preamp which already has a FM and LTE filter. So you *should* not need another.

An LTE filter is a low-pass filter, and all would be "best" even for low-vhf, as long they have the same frequency basis (some older LTE filters are from the previous LTE expansion to the 700MHz range, and the current ones are for the ~608MHz expansion, so look for that in the details). I am sure SD would suggest their branded filter ("tested and validated"?), but there are others to choose from. Whether they will help depends on the details of your environment (but they are generally useful and recommended).

Just installed the sd lte/5g filter still only getting 98 channels and 33.* is still missing signal quality on most channels is improved though slightly.

Performance on all VHF channels is much worse than the old antenna. WJLP went from around 55% quality to not locking. WABC went from 92 to 76, while the ATSC 3.0 broadcast and WNET went from 76% and 82% to 55%.

so, I played with the wires and now I am getting 99 channels but no signal on cbs or nbc or pbs on atsc 3.0. I think I need to re aim my new antenna. That may take a while to get someone here on the roof again. On the plus side cbs and nbc were drm so hopefully they are fixing that but I may be optimistic.

edit: I am ok with the reduced signal quality on abc as it is still very watchable seeing as how I get cbs on atsc 1.0 now. Also only thing on wjlp was metv but I usually watch that on frndlytv anyway. I never watch pbs so not concerned there.

Looks like it might be an issue with the ATSC 3.0 broadcast that carries CBS, NBC, PBS, and Telemundo. Unlikely that anything will happen with it today given that it's a holiday, but maybe check back tomorrow afternoon.

Keep in mind that MeTV and several of the other Weigel channels are also available on 43.x, and that is on UHF and has a great signal.
