An FYI..
The menu top line showing over the guide screen...
GUIDE | RECORDED | DISCOVER | TASKS

Is covering the top of the highlighted description of the show and the image. (Firesticks)

That menu should go away and show up from that screen by pressing back once.

Thanks,

EDIT... After writing this, the description cleared and shrunk down under that menu. Still why the menu when viewing the guide. Could leave more room for the description panel.

I am not seeing that... what platform are you using?
It's on both Fire Stick 4k Max and Fire Cube 3.

Problem confirmed - we will fix on Monday.

99.9% of the time guide via back from live would be better than guide button in middle of screen. I also agree guide vs x with mouse is fine probably the same 99.9% of the time. The problem I see is when live is launched from discover as back (x) brings you back to the show and though there is a X there to exit such, it seems a bit non-intuitive of what to do there (for all but experienced users) so I would prefer back from live to always be guide but others may expect back to be back. I'd also prefer still seeing the menu on that screen to make it a bit more intuitive (one could then argue back to top menu or back to discover but I think it actually could do both).

I switched to a Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st gen)... not seeing this.

Can you please make a camera-phone video showing the problem and the steps that led up to it...

I tried to post a pic of the banner but was unable to.

Steps: (1)Press down button that brings up the guide (2) Scroll to new channel and select (3) new channel shoes up and the bottom banners shows but never goes away.

PLEASE allow a setting to open the GUIDE (and LIVE) selections to Starred only channels. As it is now, the guide shows me less than 3 "channels": 2.1-2.4, 4.1-4.4, 5.1-5.3. Further scrolling finds 5.4 and 5.5. My most commonly watched channel, 9.1, is the 35th row in the guide. :-(

With the current configuration, it seems the fastest way to get to a channel is: <Open Guide> <select 1st channel listed> <select Starred> <Choose the station you really want>

Thanks

Bug Report – Firestick Live TV Issue:

While using the Firestick, I encountered a bug with live TV access:

- After exiting a live TV channel, I attempted to re-enter the stream but was unable to do so.
- Repeated attempts to re-enter the same channel failed. (even exiting Guide to the Recordings and back into the Guide)
- Changing to another channel (up one, then back down) restored access, and I was able to re-enter the original channel.

Observation: It appears that exiting a live channel can block re-entry until another channel is selected.

IMPORTANT: Over all you folks at Silcondust are doing a great job! Thanks.

When you tried to select the channel what happened? Was it like the app was ignoring you pressing select, or did the screen change but with no channel playing?

It looks like you have slice guide disabled. The next release that won't be an issue as the grid guide won't be shown over live TV.

Minor Bug Report - Cannot change priority of top Task.
The Task list on my PC and Android App does not have the "Up/Down" arrows for the top task. I cannot "promote" other tasks to the top. I can rearrange all the rest.

Thanks
