Communication error on AppleTVs but Mac is good

Both previously working Apple TVs now boot HDHomeRun to "communication error" while a Mac computer is still working with that HDHomeRun. Power cycling the HDHomerun and each AppleTV got one to work. When I swapped that out with the other not working AppleTV to see if it would work with the newly working AppleTV's connections, it didn't work and still said "communication error". And when I returned those connections to their newly working AppleTV I got "communication error" there again. What gives? Did both AppleTVs become defective at the same time or does HDHomeRun have a recent connection problem with AppleTVs? I am using 20250717 App and UI. Also, a third newer model AppleTV is not working and boots to "communication error".

Can you please enable "send diagnostic information" from the Settings menu in the HDHomeRun app on your Apple TV, reproduce the problem, then post back with the Device ID of your HDHomeRun...

I did reboot with an A1625 64GB AppleTV and I get "communication error". But when I navigate out of that screen I find that everything is OK and I can watch DVR or Live TV. I didn't do that for this test. The other two AppleTVs also work with the workaround. HDHomeRun is Device 10B1F2E5. Why do I get "communication error" when apparently everything is OK? I am using tvOS 18.6 released July 29 2025 and HD 20250717 UI and app. Both were used together for weeks and now this annoyance.

Apple TV bug, it's supposed to be showing that a firmware update is available, but it says "communication error" by mistake.
