The new 20250627 app release went live in the Amazon app store this morning. Can you please check for updates.lenlab wrote: Sun Jun 29, 2025 7:40 am Just want to report in that the problem recurred last night (6/28/2025) after seemingly been fixed with no issues for a few days. The new splash screen comes on and then it is followed by a blank black screen. So I hit the home button on my fire TV stick to get out of it and then select the HD and it bypasses the splash screen and goes right to the menu page and then works fine.
Locking up on multiple fire sticks...

Re: Locking up on multiple fire sticks...
OK will do. Thanks!
This seems to be a strange issue as it was happening every other day and then seemed to be fixed only to reappear like once every 5 days. So it did get much better but not completely fixed. Or maybe related to my environment and how I use the 4K?
I will try to get the new 20250627 app, install it, see what my experience is and report back in. I will need a few days of using it to see that the issue is resolved.
Just checked this am and now 20250627 app is installed on my TV/Fire TV Stick.
On my Chromebook it is 20250614 and the 20250627 app is not in the Google Play store yet for me to update. It has not been updated to the 20250627 app on my Windows 11 PC yet which is at 20250603. Not sure how to update the Windows version of the app. I'll have to figure that out.
I went to Amazon and don't see how I can update my Win 11 PC. Can you give me some instructions? I went to your website but don't see this version. I also went to the Windows store and don't see this version. Is it only for TVs?

Re: Locking up on multiple fire sticks...
The Android release is still going through the Play Store verification.
There is no corresponding Windows release as the problem was specific to Android / Fire TV.

Re: Locking up on multiple fire sticks...
Okay thanks for the explanation.
So far the update seems to be working but real time stress testing will take a few more days to validate all is well. Hopefully other users will be able to verify all is fixed too.

It is now 7/7/2025 and after 6 or so days of NO issues I want to report in the problem seems to be fixed. Thanks again to the support team for resolving this issue!
I am using the 4k Homerun app with an Amazon fireTV stick 4k max and Samsung TV.
