Locking up on multiple fire sticks...

After going in to hdhomerun and getting new splash screen, device locks up. Hit home button and try again and get

Error: Java exception was raised during method invocation

Followed by a vertical list with...

in n
in t
in div
In t
In t

Etc.
Have to reset fire stick. Happening on 3 different sticks/ TV's.

Works for a while after resetting, then happens again, randomly. Thanks

Which app version... mine pulled in 0603 and has done that and couple of times on both chromecast and old onn (home and firce stop app usually clears it rather than comlete reset... haven't seen such on devices with more ram yet. Ni j had mentioned in another thread that 0606 was out but I haven't been able to pull that in yet.

Also happened on my HP Chromcast. I thought that was important to report. Leaving on vacation in a few hours so I will catch up on the resolution when I get back.

I am having the same issue on a FireTv device using version 20250606.

I do not have this problem when I use my IPhone 11.

On first attempt didn't work. Got Java error as before. Cleared data and working. Will see what happens.

I'm also randomly getting the JAVA error on FireTV Cube. I'm going into applications and force stop HDHomerun, clear cache and relaunch the program and it will work for a while. Also, at random times while playing it will go to a black screen and 'Connection Error', though I don't know if that is related to the recent update or not.

make sure you post what app version you are on (I doubt firetv app store is on the latest as it usually takes several more days than google play store but you may have sideloaded latest). Just the other day both were pulling in 0603... google finally gave me 0606 on Thursday night and I was able to manually update (still through play store) on Friday and haven't seen many issues with devices on 0611 but occasionally it doesn't seem to load... I press back and then get an error on the discover page, then a few seconds later that comes in and live works again. It is like it just isn't liking the delay in getting something but I don't want to start in anything but live so I will put up with it for now (it hasn't been too many times I've seen this but the two times I hot back and went to discover it started working real quickly).
