Howdy Folks,
I just purchased a Flex 4K tuner (I was an OG Prime user until my ISP switched away from CableCARD *pours one out*) and purchased a Mohu Vibe indoor antenna to pair with it. The Vibe comes with an optional in-line "Jolt Switch" amplifier, which I did hook up. That amplifier is powered via USB. It doesn't have a little LED indicator to say whether it is being powered or not however.
My question: am I able to use the USB port on the back of the Flex 4K to power it? I am pretty sure the supplied amount of power would be enough (though I'm not 100% on that), but I don't know if the Flex 4K specifically only lights it up when it detects storage. (I don't actually need the USB port for storage, as I route the Flex 4K through Plex).
Thanks in advance!

Re: Flex 4K USB Port for Antenna Booster
The USB port should safely give about 1 amp of power.
