Try it now - HDHomeRun app for Windows, XBox, Mac, iOS, Android, LG - click DVR from Live TV, click the Settings gear icon, and select "Early access to new features".
Roku and Apple TV will follow.

This new version 20250314K is no longer allowing me to see any of my recorded shows and if I try to select anything in the dvr or tasks tabs all I get is a list of episodes for a show called "Gold Rush". Interface is totally broken and not usable for recording or playing back. Hope my recordings are still there. Is there some way to roll back to a prior version?

UPDATE: I tried turning OFF "Early access to new features" but did not see a change in the interface. However, after exiting the app (on my Windows 11 pc) and restarting HDHomeRun app the UI reverted to the previous version and all of my recordings were now there and accessible. I don't think I will be rushing to turn this feature back on.

I have been "Gold Rush"ed also. All prior recordings are not visible, but are still on hard disk and in the HDHomeRun folder.

UPDATE:
I went to the Settings gear icon, and selected "Early access to new features", and set it to OFF.

Now, I can seen all prior recordings, in the regular "old standard" episodes viewing mode.

I do not like the [new and improved] "New episodes view". It is too big and I have to scroll much more to see the episodes that are recorded, instead of just looking at one page, and seeing them all, for example: the episodes for a week.
Also, in the "New episodes view", management of a recorded episode is awkward (is it at the top or bottom of the list?), and it is really easy to accidentally double click and erase an episode, when trying to click on the far right arrow (>).

Start position of an episode is all whacky, when launching it from the "New episodes view". During playback, the position time indicators (elapsed and remaining) are jumpy, and both are counting in two (2) seconds increments, one by odd numbers and the other by even numbers.

I do not like the "New episodes view". I do not like it with a fox. I do not like it in a box. I do not like, the "New episodes view".

Yep, i was Gold Rushed as well. Turning off new features did the trick. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for telling me how to turn that feature off because I was stuck on Gold Rush also. Do not like the new Improvement that they're doing and you wish they would just leave it alone. I did shut off early access and now I'm able to watch my recording. Thank you for letting all of us know how to fix this solution.

I still have problems with the New Episodes view that also shows up on the Tasks pane as well. I am currently using a FireTV stick right now.

It seems there splash screen will show a blank, black screen for television series that you do not have images or overall series information to show on the splash screen. It will overlay a blank, black screen with no way to back out of the screen which requires a forced stop and restart of the application.

I have three (3) shows where it happens on the Record tab: "How the Universe Works", "Teen Titans Go!", and "Phineas and Ferb"
I have two (2) shows where it happens on the Task tab: "How the Universe Works" and "Teen Titans Go!". Note the only reason why it is 2 shows on the Task tab is because there are no new episodes of "Phineas and Ferb" to record and I have removed it from my tasks; however, the shows still air. When New Features are enabled and I am in the Task pane, I can scroll down to "How the Universe Works" and the left side of the screen shows the icon for the show with a description below it, but when I select enter to go into the task recording management screen, I get the black, blank screen

When I disable New Features, I can access all TV shows on both the Record and Task tabs

I really do not like this new layout it is very confusing how to watch episodes that we have recorded and stuff why is there locks on other episodes on the same show. I am so confused please don't change it why change something that isn't broken. I don't want this new feature that you guys are proposing to us. It makes it more confusing and more harder for me to watch the shows that I recorded that I like watching. I hope you guys don't change it to this new format. I hope you leave the recording just the way it is because I see nothing wrong with it. It was much easier to play shows back after recording them and deleting them.

Would you be able to upload one of these recordings to a share site such as Google Drive and then PM me the share link. We should then be able to reproduce the problem you are seeing and fix it.

The app shows all episodes recorded and coming up on TV in the next 14 days.

Episodes with a lock icon and coming up on TV in the next 14 days. It says on the episode when it will be available to watch. This is the same as how streaming services handle weekly episode releases.

There is a right arrow on each episode click that and the option to delete is there... if you are referring to the task itself that is under tasks as well as record more which allows you to delete.

One thing I did notice but probably wouldn't affect many as typically they won't have duplicates lying around, I would like a bit more information when you click that right button on a recorded episode (and preferably some of it not requiring a click) I would like to know which engine it is on (can we get a new setting in the engine to have friendly name of engine like which nas it is on? though I can use the UUID, I can see such showing up easier with fewer characters). Also for news programs all episodes have the same date with no way of telling what episode it is for the date it was recorded (would like this for the left side as well for absence of episode information )

Edit: also for recordings, I would like recordings to show first rather than upcoming episodes... for instance that news program I was referring to above I had to go down 14 spots just to see a recording... I can see really liking the current layout with "discover" which includes the recordings one already has but not when I am looking for recordings. I guess I would like to see an "upcoming" menu option on the left (which includes repeats) and have that up top when got to from discover and on bottom when got to from recorded (though perhaps the point is to not have/need both options in the future).

Also for OP, nickk in another thread mentioned the arrow doesn't show up for movies and that such would be fixed soon.

Wanted to let you know I PMd Nick just now after a few tests of my issue. It is not based on a specific file that caused the issue. I described the testing in greater detail and asked for some more guidance.

Love the new view but I'm running into the following issues/bugs on my LG TV:

1. The episodes view does not allow scrolling the view with the up/down buttons, only the scroll wheel.
2. The right arrow button pops out the context menu even when there's no ">" indicator on the top most item that represents all episodes.
3. Shouldn't the ">" indicator really be "..." for a context menu? I get that it would need to be selected and pressed via the ok button but it's weird to me that the right arrow pops up the context menu.
4. The back button does not work to get out of this view. I have to force my remote into arrow pointer mode and click the upper right "x" close button to get out. That's annoying.
