Pretty much out-of-the-box config, other than changing passwords and SSIDs.

Wifi extender usually used with the HDHR3 is Netgear EX6120

Their firmware is current.

I am seeing the same or very similar with my Win 11 laptop and old HDHR3-US. The app on Onn Google TV and iPhone works normally.
