Greenville, SC (29615) - No guide data
Hi,
In the GSP (29615) market, channel 28.6 is showing "Channel no longer available" for guide data. However, this should be ACE TV (their EDT schedule).
Relevant device IDs: 10A4015E, 10A17DB7.
Thanks!

Re: Error discovering on undefined:
So you only have a single HDHomeRun tuner on your network? If so, that makes it interesting that the HDHomeRun app sees two.
Could you ask your local user if they run a pseudo-tuner app on their laptop (xTeVe, Threadfin, Dispatcharr, or similar) on their laptop? And if they perhaps use Tailscale ...

Re: Error discovering on undefined:
How do you have your LAN numbered? That IP address, 100.115.92.2, is in the RFC-6598 address space, which is designated for CG-NAT. Though, some overlay networks (mesh VPNs) such as Tailscale use the address space as well.
This could cause some detection issues. Local area networks should use the ...

Re: Setting Up Jellyfin DVR with HDHomeRun and XMLTV Guide
From where are you sourcing your XMLTV guide data? SiliconDust provides XMLTV guide data, but you must subscribe to their DVR server to access it:

Re: Guide data needs to be updated - Greenville, SC 29615
I think it's correct now. It is showing listings for Charge instead of ROAR and they appear to be correct.
Thank you!

Guide data needs to be updated - Greenville, SC 29615
Device ID: 10A4015E
A couple of channels were swapped/renamed a few months ago in the Upstate SC market.
40.2 was TBD but is now Charge. (The channel lineup shows it as ROAR, but the programming is Charge.)

Re: Background channel scan: How to deal with tropo channels overwriting locals?
Until now, I was not aware of any sort of background channel scan(s) occurring. Are these triggered internally within the HDHomeRun device, or does external software (e.g. HDHomeRun app for Windows/Mac/Linux etc.) trigger the background channel scans?
By the device. https://info.hdhomerun.com ...

Re: Encryption
Read it and weep. Doesn't this mean that without major changes Silicon Dust tuners will NEVER be able to handle encrypted signals?
