I agree. There really should be a compromise in all of this. I figure that we all prefer functionality over visual form and asthetics, for that is what made HDHR my choice over the other systems. Keep it as simple and informative on one page when possible, just like time proven spreadsheets. Long ...

I have been "Gold Rush"ed also. All prior recordings are not visible, but are still on hard disk and in the HDHomeRun folder.

I went to the Settings gear icon, and selected "Early access to new features", and set it to OFF .
