It would sure be nice to get some feedback from SiliconDust on this thread. IE. An acknowledgement the website was down and in particular why there cannot be some caching of the tasks queue to avoid downtime in the DVR process.

Deleting the 'installer' folder location and rebooting the NAS fixed the issue.

It was interesting. Anything scheduled previously to the docker was recording on the installer location. Anything new was recording on the new docker location.

Turned off the configuration to the HDHomeRun install on my Qnap NAS using their installer (HDHomeRun Setup). IE Store Recordings on this PC or Store Recordings on ... NAS.

Docker container running recorded three programs with no issue. Nice.

Well I have the docker up and running. I believe correctly. Do I just select a TV Show or Movie to record as normal and the file ends up in the Recordings directory of the share?

In other words, once the docker is up and running (properly) the files should automatically record on the NAS where the ...

I had the WD MyCloud handling this for about four years and honestly don't recall the app not auto starting upon reboot ...

I ditched my old WD MyCloud Ext2 Ultra for DVR recording (the last time I tried to install it, it never could find it) for installation on my Qnap.

But even though I have installed, removed and re-installed the installer, hdhomerun_windows_20250815, it fails to see the Qnap NAS as well now.
