HDHomeRun app for Android / Fire TV release 20250708 has been submitted to Google and Amazon. Fixes a problem where you may get stuck on a black screen after the startup splash on some devices. The apk is also available from our forum to sideload.

when you say "unable to play" do you mean that the episodes view correctly showed your recordings but when you tried to play one it didn't play?

I confirmed on the weekend that the message "No Series Data" can be briefly seen while the episode data loads. It is harmless and will be fixed this week.

Are you seeing a problem that is impacting using the DVR?

What you are describing strongly suggests that the first delete is working but the UI is incorrectly continuing to show the episode. The further delete attempts will be ignored by the record engine as it has already deleted the recording but may help what the UI displays.

Confirming, the HDHomeRun PRIME (HDHR3-CC) is cable only. It has specialized tuner hardware to support CableCARD.

A fix has been submitted to Roku... the Roku store should push it as an update on or before Wednesday.

Try rebooting the Google TV box/dongle. The HDHomeRun app utilizes the Android video decode features of the box and if the Android video sub-system has wedged you can see this.
