Re: No Devices Found
I've seen the 'no tuners found' error when starting HDHomerun for a year or more intermittently with my two primes and on multiple windows 10 pc's. Exiting HDHomerun and restarting it fixes it with one or two tries. This can occur when another windows 10 pc is connected to a tuner and playing live T...

Re: win Server 2019 share as dvr storage with nvidia
You're in my world with your question. I've run the record engine on server 2019 for the last couple of months since I upgraded them from server 2016, which they had run on for 2 or 3 years (on two seperate servers ever since record engine pooling became possible). Make it simple and run the entire ...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC
I can appreciate all of this, but I'm only referring to WMC's design for TV. It still has better remote support, show recording/retrieval options, and guide. After all of the years of development on your software, WMC is still the superior option. When you had to build your own software, why wouldn...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC
It's funny how after all this time, WMC is still better than their app. Windows Media Center was a behemoth created by one of the largest and most powerful software companies on the planet, and designed to do far more than just handle live TV and recordings. It inspired XBMC many years ago, which l...

Re: No Internet, No App????
Well, this one bit me in the rear these last two days. We had a severe windstorm that took out power and internet. I got power restored fairly quickly but the internet was down for 36 hours. The HDHR app on our devices was useless and therefore I had my kid and wife looking at me saying "What the h...

Re: Can anyone read the FULL description in movies?
Is the root issue of being unable to view the full description going to be part of the beta, or just adding a new UI element for the rating? If not the former, any reason why? Is there a workaround? Just the rating for now. Possible idea for viewing the full description would be to make the descrip...

Re: HD Homerun on Five TV Lite
Any updates on the question of whether HD Homerun can run properly on the FireStick TV Light? The only answers I can find is user comments in the 'questions' section of the Amazon listing and this thread that tells me that it 'might not' work. Please let me know, I just bought the 'Lite' for a Chris...

Re: What happened to "hide" and "record series" buttons in UI?
NedS: The "hide" button will return shortly. The "record series" option is under "record more" but we are looking to improve that label/UI element. Thanks! We miss the "Hide" button - it will be nice when we have it back. Any improvements in the 'remote control usability' will be appreciated. I lik...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC
@Bobstr Thank you for your encouragement! Our Logitech Harmony is also a 650 (great remote!), and I will look into remapping further buttons as you did... but I think that it would make more sense for the HDHR DVR app developers to properly handle WMC/MCE commands in the first place so that users o...

Re: Having a hard time convincing family (wife) that HDHR DVR can replace WMC
Gab - A year or tow ago, we did the transition similar to what you're going through. Yes, there are many differences between how WMC and HDHR DVR work. It's the nature of the business that things change over time, and that change is particularly jarring when a beloved product (WMC) dies and has to b...
