Roku Streaming Stick Brightscript error

Post by tnussbaum »

I recently pulled out my older HDHR-T1-US and attempted to connect it to my Roku Streaming Stick. The app complains about not finding my HDHomerun device on the network, and I get a Brightscript error. The same device connects and works well with my Google TV setup, as well as other methods (Windows PC, Jellyfin Live TV setup, etc).

Screenshots of the error are shown below.

The T1 won't work with Roku but it shouldn't crash - we are fixing that.

Run HDHomeRun Setup on a Windows PC to run a channel scan.

Good to know, and thanks all for the details. I'll focus on another solution (Jellyfin seems to work well thus far) to allow the HDHomerun to work with my Rokus.
