Guide not updating

Once again the HDHomeRun TV Guide is not updating it's been like that 3 to 4 days now it does not go past December 1 on my end I thought it would fix itself but then I just waited and three to four days went by and still not updated so I'm hoping you guys can update it to get it so it shows new info and updated info I thought that TV Guide supposed to update four times a day and I noticed it does not do that because I saw on one channel that the guide has changed some programs one day and it did not list the correct info. I hope you guys can update the guide and get it working properly don't know why it's doing this again thank you

The guide updates once a day. 14 days of data are available. 14 days including today ends on December 1, although since the daily update just completed, it's now up to December 2.

Can you guys update 32.5 with the correct information cuz that channel is no longer Scripps Network it has became the ion Network so could you guys get the correct info updated because there's several different TV Guide that are saying it is now the ion Network when when I tune into it when I'm able to when there's signal on that channel it is the Ion channel I wish you could guys could update that Channel with the correct info

Can you please update 31.1 WMEI MeTV Green Bay with the correct programming because it's not showing Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. when MeTV is supposed to be showing the Milwaukee Bucks game because they've been advertising it on that channel I saw it three times yesterday.

Most likely that is one that will have to wait for the update that comes out later today/tonight as from what I can tell it was just recently changed by the provider and I checked zap2it this morning and it was correct there. One thing they can do is ensure you are on the right channel and not some generic one which is often the result of people asking for changes prior to the provider getting it correct as they have to override the provider and that remains. Typically it will show up on zap2it about up to 24 hours before such update rolls out to SD and down to the devices. They can only adjust lineups, not programming info in that lineup so if it is set to a generic metv, they can set it to the actual station, but other than that, they don't control the actual program listings as it just retrieves the lineup for the channel it is set to.

If you are using SD's DVR, what I would do if it doesn't update by tomorrow is set a oneoff recording for whatever is scheduled then and adjust padding appropriately... it would also be nice if you can make a series rule for NBA Basketball just incase the program listings change before it starts to record. I have even seen some strange things when that update happens in the middle of a recording (but typically it will continue recording whatever it is recording and if you have enough tuners kick off another one)... I remember particularly when this happened to me when the star of black panther died (Chadwick Boseman) and they decided to show the movie on ABC and on the west coast it updated in the middle of the movie.. because I also had cable and it was scheduled to air on a cable station, I had a rule for it already in place. Most other DVRs have more manual control of such recordings.

WMEI's listings have now been switched back to the local listings instead of the generic national ones now that the local ones are correct. The Bucks game on Wednesday is showing up correctly.

Is there a way you can change 32.5 back to the local WACY guy because I know you changed it to the ion National feed but because when I go to the official website of my local channels on their broadcast it shows different programming on that channel then that is scheduled something decent correct so if you could change that one back to the local affiliate as long as it's not showing so it shows correct info. Because over the weekend 32.5 was supposed to be showing Christmas movies but it wasn't showing the same ones that my local affiliate had scheduled on that channel don't know. I don't understand why that's happening. So I missed out on some good Christmas movies this past weekend

The place to check unless you have other access to gracenote data is at tvlistings.zap2it.com as they "use" the same provider (I still consider them as the provider as they were part of gracenote years ago but when nielsen bought gracenote they basically eventually sold the consumer facing trib stuff to nexstar while maintaining the business services but part of the agreement was nexstar will continue to use their data and that agreement was renewed about a year ago to last several more years). Currently zap lists that channel as scripps news and typically a local will still be (exception sports/news) the generic but needs to know east/west feed but occasionally only one may get updated and may even essentially be just 1 feed. Currently the schedule for the upcoming weekend matches ion east. Though SD can put such request in, typically I've got faster results contacting zap2it but often they still need to wait for confirmation from the station.

Yes I have checked that website that you guys used to get your guiding pool from and I know they still don't have it updated to the correct Channel it still says Scripps news I don't know how to get my channel to contact them and get it updated. But if you put it back to default where it will show scripts news again then when your guy updates to the correct information and guide and then the channel guy will update correctly on my end because I need Central Standard Time on my guide for ions feed but I would prefer if you just put it back to the default station and see what happens there if you guys could do that I would appreciate that thank you. I will email WACY and tell them the contact the company where you guys get your guide info from and tell them to update their Guide to the correct info. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention I'll see what I can get done on my end from my local affiliate. At a quick glance it does seem to match over the next 2 weeks. Typical Ion, like 10 shows they run marathons of, paid programming overnight, and some random kids shows on Friday mornings to meet the E/I requirements, no movies.

Last weekend ion was showing some Christmas movies and I had some scheduler report but they did record but not to correct movies that were scheduled at that time was a different Christmas movie than the ones I scheduled to record. If you can find the correct feed for ION why don't you just put it back to its original local feed schedule and wait till that's updated that's the only other option I can think of. I don't know how you're going to fix this issue. You stated that you glanced at the schedule 2 weeks out and it's not matching up so let me know how you're going to get this corrected thank you
