Guide not updating

Gracenote is the guide provider.... something like that typically would have to come from the station to tell Gracenote of such.

Okay I will look them up and see if I can contact him and see if they can get the local affiliate to update those Networks I appreciate it I'll try to do my best. Because I have contacted catchy comedy three different times and they haven't updated it or replied to my email or comments on their Facebook page so I have to try this alternative to see if this will work thank you for the info information and I will keep you updated

Every time I try to go to this website it brings up news Nation did this website shut down or something why can't I access zap2it here is the link to provide every time I go to that website what happens.

Thank you that has worked but I see it is missing Telemundo 31.6 and catchy comedy on 31.7 and they still have 2.6 listed as catch economy which that channel no longer exists it's completely gone they took it away as of April 10th. So there's nowhere to contact them no more on that site because I need to contact them to update 31.6 Telemundo and 31.7 catchy comedy. They're used to be on the bottom of their page a contact. Here is the zip code that I'm using to look up my local affiliates that come from the Green Bay Wisconsin Market is 54201

31.6 Telemundo was added back in December December 5th of 2024

31.7 catchy comedy was added April 1st of this

You think by now they would have these updated so people can get the Guide information if they're supposed to be receiving. I hope I can figure out a way to get them to update this because there's a program that is locally going to be on catchy comedy that I would love to record and tune into but I can't if the local affiliate don't update it because HD homerun has catchy comedy map to catchy comedy and it doesn't feature any local program just what catchy comedy showing

I do agree with you if SiliconDust I contact them I will have better luck getting it updated than them just listening to me. I hope they will do it so this can get resolved so I don't have to keep bothering everyone about this issue. So I hope SD also contacts them and get this resolved because I've been trying to contact him since mid December to get them to update Telemundo on your guide and they have never once replied to any of my emails or updated their guide.

About 3 weeks ago the tv listings from zap2it "moved" back to gracenote thus the media company (nexstar) owning the domain now redirects to one of its sites. Yes you do need more than just tvlistings.gracenote.com to get to such. Since the move there hasn't been much one can do with that other than look at listings unlike the old zap2it site that offered such support as gracenote genrrally provides support for its customers not public.

The station is your contact to get such listings corrected but they may not do so. What you see there will be what the "official" lineup gracenote has for your area... SD can often generically map lineups to a channel but anything more (i.e. what you asked for) you will see it there first and such should trickle down to SD within a couple of days but in some cases it may require them to undo such prior mapping for your device.

You didn't say exactly what the local error was, in some cases, fixing it may also cause issues when they stop showing that... here me toons had a daily local 4 hour block set forever as mainly infomercials in guide but always showed the me toons show... I know gracenote now has this correct for phoenix (haven't checked this week for SD guide)

I have contacted catchy comedy three times to get 31.7 guide updated on TV devices in HD home runs because people doesn't know what's on or what program they are showing when they have a blank schedule. SD stated that the local affiliate has not updated the info yet so they are mapping it to catching company in town or local affiliate updates catchy comedy on 31.7 it's a local programming that they keep advertising they don't remember the name on top of my head that they are going to be showing on that Network so I would like and eventually to be back to the local affiliate because when it's a map to catchy comedy they can't fill in the local programming. That's what SD has told me so I don't think there's anything I can do until the station updates it then. Because there's several guides that I look at in catchy comedy is updated on their guide service but not zap 2 so I don't know what else to do

Can you guys reach out to Weigel broadcasting catchy comedy and have them update their local affiliate on WMEI 31.7 with the guide info. I think if you guys reach out to them they'll be more likely to listen to you guys and update it because I contacted them the week it moved to the new channel I contacted him last week and I'm placing an email again today so this will be my third time. And also make a comment on one of their Facebook page and they did not reply or do anything really appreciated if you can contact him

Here is an email I got back after contacting them to update Gracenote for those two channels they recommend you guys to contact them to get this updated

Thanks for reaching out to let us know inconsistencies with the data you are receiving but unfortunately Gracenote is only able to take data from official sources. As you can imagine, the database could be easily compromised if took feedback from members of the general public.
If you are able, please notify the customer service for your device who can report issues to us and this will provide the basis for a data accuracy inquiry.

The reason I ask, is the Smart TV’s get their programming guide from a different source than what we transmit. If this is the case, can you please let me know what brand TV it is? Hi there I'm contacting you because there is no guiding information and your picture quality went downhill ever since you guys transferred your channel to 31.7 from WBAY 2.6 I hope you can fix these two issues so I can continue enjoying these shows that I grew up with and hope I am doing this writing contacting the right place I am 77 years old and still thinking about the technology I would appreciate it if you can take a look at this and adjust these two concerns thank you very much and have a wonderful rest of your week and hope to see some improvements on the guide and picture quality thank you


My TV is a Roku TV and HDHomeRun and I have internet and it says no guide available for catchy comedy on 31.7.

Sorry I forgot to mention that to them that you think that's what they would be working on that's why they asked me if I had internet and all that. What else would they be updating me they updated their guide information you would think they would provide the local for Green Bay Wisconsin so I can get that one program that's supposed to be on their Channel April 20th I hope it's updated before then I will email them and inform them to make sure Gracenote is updated as well
