Guide not updating

It has to be corrected by the broadcaster as it is wrong for all 365BLK listings.

Okay I will try to figure out if there's a way to contact broadcaster and get them to correct the issue. Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know I hope this issue will be corrected soon

Why ain't any of the channels coming in on next gen ATSC 3.0 every time I try to tune into the ones that are unlocked and get an error message saying unable to play Channel communication error. How do I fix this problem so I can tune into them haven't been able to tune into them since June of last year and I thought this would fix itself and still hasn't so that's why I thought I would bring this to your attention. I don't know if it's on your end or the broadcaster please let me know thank you. Other people are having problems too I'm not the only one

Okay why isn't 32.6 On WACY updating their Channel they're supposed to be changing to a different Channel called Gainesville Central tomorrow Monday February 17th and it doesn't have any of their programming it still has what they existing channel has on their guide for programming it's not updating with the game so Central TV schedule for February 17th is there a way you guys could fix that I would very much appreciate it

It's up to the station to notify Gracenote about affiliation changes

There isn't even a listing set up for Game Show Central yet, so it might be a bit before we can do anything about this new channel.

Okay thank you I will keep checking around to see if I can find any listing or anything because originally game show Central was just a streaming Channel but as of today it officially came on over the air replacing GETTV in the Green Bay Wisconsin viewing Market a little disappointed with this change but I like game shows too but I walk around and see if I can find any listing for game show Central and I will give you guys a link and see if you could use that to update this. Thank you for your update and we will have to wait and see what can be done in the future when there is a listing.

I know they seem to guide service that you guys go through. But I found my local affiliate for WACY tv32 I found that on this website 32.6 is updated correctly with the correct guiding phone I don't know if you can use this until your guide provider service update to the correct info for game show Central I hope you can use this because I want to start recording some of the great programming off that network. OnTVTonight uses Xperi for data. While they were told about this one in advanced, in many areas they are lagging well behind on updates. Like that guide data source still lists TrueReal for one of my Ion subchannels, despite that network ceasing operations back in March 2023. While for Nosey and Confess they are using the schedule for their streaming feeds instead of their diginet feeds.


The lack of update for Game Show Central isn't isolated to WACY Green Bay, at quick check NONE of the Scripps stations notified Gracenote about the change in advanced and so far they are the only OTA partner for the network. Which is kind of funny as Scripps also relies on Gracenote's data for their own DVR platform.

In addition to Silicondust and Scripps's own DVR platform, Gracenote also supplies data for Zap2it, tvtv, Schedules Direct, ChannelsDVR, Plex, DIRECTV, Dish, Xfinity, Optimum, Cox, Verizon FiOS, Bell, Rogers, and most ex-Time Warner/Brighthouse Spectrum systems.

But they should be able to update it they done it before and I just want to update it so I can know what game shows are on there so no one to watch. Right now I don't tune into it because otherwise I have to watch it live 24/7 and know what's on there. I was just asking if they could use this link to update the channel 32.6 from get TV to game show Central because that's what it is now. I hope they can use this an updated. Until the local affiliate decides to updated on their end. Once my local WACY updates it then I don't have them remove this and go back to the original guide if they can't even use this what I found I don't know. I'll wait for them to respond after this. For the other previous changes Silicondust had other stations carrying those networks to use as a listings source, while networks like Telemundo and Ion have national feeds that are carried by cable and sat providers.

They have nothing to use for Game Show Central as Scripps is the only broadcaster in the country carrying it on their stations, so Gracenote's data for all of those stations are still showing the schedule for the previous networks. If you want to help speed up the process, contact your local station and ask them to tell Gracenote that Game Show Central is now on channel 32.6

I don't think Sony has starting sending anyone the schedule for the channel yet. One Scripps station has been switched to GSC in the Gracenote data, but the listings for it were wrong (probably the streaming channel, which runs a different schedule than the broadcast channel), and now it's back to showing the data for GET. TVGuide, which is data from the 4 letter company with i, v, and o in the name, is just showing 2 hour blocks labelled as Game Show Central, so they clearly aren't getting anything useful either.

Okay thank you so much for clarifying that I will see what I can do I'll dig around this see if there's any other information otherwise all we can do is we're going to probably have to wait until scripts or Sony sends out the guide data for game show Central I know it's more of a scripts problem because they're the ones that decided to change the channel. Maybe we have to wait a couple of weeks maybe a month before it's corrected but I'll see what I can find and see if you can use that or what will happen from now we just have to sit and wait and be patient.

I know this ain't got related I don't know where to post this but I need help I'm trying to find where Alyssa's all my signal meters because I need to know what the signal are at on ATSC 3.0 because I'm having some trouble pulling them in because when I go to tuner status it does not show me all my channels so how can I find a signal meter so I can report back to my local affiliate so they can fix the problem with the channel because I'm getting an error message it's been going on for over a year and HD hasn't been able to fix it so I don't know what else to do the error message that I'm getting when I tune into a next-gen 3.0 channel is this
Unable to play channel:
Communication error

Unable to play channel: Protocol error error

HDHomeRun problem: No Video Data

Those are the error messages that I get every time I try to tune into those channels if someone can tell me how to get my signal pulled up from HD home run so I can send that to my local affiliate to fix this problem with it if silicone dust can't fix it

Okay I have checked this link several times now and it's a different lineup than the live stream on Pluto and other live stream so this has to be a guy that you guys can use for the time being Intel scripts notifies where you guys originally get your guide feed from hoping you can use this thing for game so Central that is on channel 32.6 in the Green Bay Wisconsin Market registered a lot of game shows that I would like to start recording and watch but it's hard to know when they are on when I have to keep going back here and then to my TV I wish you guys could update that please let me know if you can use this link yet thank you

ontvtonight does not use Gracenote as a source.

They can only fix it for you when Gracenote has a station with the correct data.
