On Verizon FiOS with a Prime. Trying to watch it on a Phillips Android TV. The video begins and then freezes and then audio cuts in and out every 3 seconds.
I have enabled diagnostics. My ID is 131108EE

Re: RedZone not working
Channel number is 835 if you see multiple streams
Re: RedZone not working
The app is using software video decode and the CPU can't keep up. It defaults to hardware decode so it may have detected a problem with hardware decode.
Can you please exit the app then launch it again so it detects the codecs again.

Re: RedZone not working
Just tried again, force stopped the app, restarted the TV, same issue. If I go to another HD channel like CBS HD (502) no issues, only RedZone on this TV (Phillips Android)
Re: RedZone not working
Ok, your TV reports a MPEG2 codec but this codec was broken when we tested it in 2022 so the app ignores it.
I am not sure why software decode isn't keeping up.
I will talk with my team on Monday.

Re: RedZone not working
Understood thanks. I think we had this exact problem before. Something about a blacklist issue

With Sunday coming around, just wanted to see if there was an update
Re: RedZone not working
Sign up for the beta program for the Android app at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... ndust.view and an updated version that fixes the software decode issues will be available if you go into the play store and check for updates.
