WRAL in Raleigh, NC is broadcasting in HDR

WRAL in Raleigh, NC 105.1 is now broadcasting in HDR and it is not triggering the HDR on my LG C4 OLED / AppleTV 4K / HDHomerun app and looks bad.

If your LG television can run the HDHomeRun app try that as a test.

On the Apple TV try forcing HDR.

With HEVC the video decode and HDR is handled by the hardware rather than the HDHomeRun app.

I don't see the app in store on my c4. I tried on FireTV Stick Max v2 and HDR banner comes on. PQ is so so. Looks a lot better in ChannelsDVR which shows HDR banner on AppleTV app.

Channels DVR correctly recognizes the feed as HDR the but the HD Homerun app does not. I have my AppleTV settings on SDR and it will enable HDR as needed.
Also, Is there a way to see audio / video stats on an overlay on the AppleTV?
