I’m not an ATSC 3.0 expert, but after poking around, I think MDU is related to implementing what this thread was requesting. Is this understanding correct? Or are you just fixing a problem with an existing capability in the HDHR app?

If this MDU-related update brings us closer to seeing ATSC 3.0 Internet Streams, maybe you could say how much more work remains before I might see channels like T2 get discovered by my HDHR Flex 4K, where I’d find them in my channel listing, and whether I’d need to rescan to find such channels.

MDU is multiple dwelling unit... apartment/condo where they can offer hdhomerun to all their units

Confirming that T2 is not encrypted and will work once we release OTT support.

Thanks for clearing that up. That’s a cool development regarding MDU, even though I don’t need that feature.

How is the OTT capability coming along? My research says OTT is short for over-the-top.

Those sound like release notes to me! :)

Yes, now for a roadmap of sorts listing capabilities being worked and estimate of release in beta and official release that gets updated.

Many companies choose NOT to do this -- I believe SD is one (but I could be wrong).

Hey guys, any insight into how this effort is going? Or hasn’t it really even begun yet for unencrypted stations?
